They should include in the name and description “snag-less” they might sell more of these.
Story: I snagged my nail on a basic mil spec forward assist, one time using my right hand to charge my rifle, and it felt like I ripped my nail off. Yes my nails were trimmed at the time. Then I went on a search for a beveled type of forward assist, and after extensive searching, found this one. Once I received it, it was as described and pictured. Then I tried to snag my nails with force and couldn’t, so I installed it and tried again. No snags. After test firing and charging for a couple of months, I was impressed and installed on three of my uppers (AR-10, AR-15, AR-47(7.62×39)).
I highly recommend this forward assist for all your AR’s, especially if you have an ambidextrous charging handle.
